PITTSBURGH, PA - On Wednesday night, the Presidents' Athletic Conference hosted their yearly All-PAC selection show on the PAC Sports Network. This year's lineup consists of four Cougars named as Honorable Mention honorees.
Honorable Mention
Junior, Goalkeeper: Maxwell Cottrill
Cottrill earns his second Honorable Mention (2024 and 2025) as he a key unit to the Cougars back line. He played in 12 games, totaling 1,035 minutes. Within that time, he only allowed 10 goals against and earned four shutouts. He finished first in the PAC in saves (72) and saves per game (6.00). Additionally, he was ranked third in goals against average (0.870). With his three wins this season, he currently holds the record for most career wins at nine.
Sophomore, Defender: Charlie Ayers
Ayers earns his first Honorable Mention as he was a vital member to the back line. He played in, and started, 17 games earning 1,460 minutes which was the most from any player on the team. While key to the back line, Ayers found his way into the final third as he scored a goal of his own and had an assist on the season.
Sophomore, Midfielder: Izeyah Romo
Romo earns his first Honorable Mention as he was a playmaker in the middle of the field for the Cougars. He played in 19 games, starting in 18 which was the most on the team this season. He tallied two goals, an assist, 21 shots, and nine shots on goal this season.
Sophomore, Forward: Christopher Colonna
Colonna earned his first Honorable Mention as a Cougar after having an impressive end to the season. He played in 12 games this season. He led the team in goals (4), was tied for first in shots on goal (10), and was second in points (8).
In addition to these four Cougars, Senior, defender Matthew Crosby was named to the 2025 PAC Men's Soccer Sportsmanship Team for his acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior during the season.
