Geno Pichora who were both named Rookie of the Week.
Geno Pichora wins his third Rookie of the Week Award of the season. He previously won the award on the week of November 18th and December 9th. This past week he played both games for the Cougars against SUNY Brockport and recorded his first career shutout in Friday's win. He saved 64 shots on goal for the weekend which gave him a .928 save percentage for the two games.
Klara Miuller wins the award for the first time after playing only two games for the Cougars. She was instrumental in the Cougars come from behind victory against Buffalo State on January 18th. She scored two goals and recorded one assist in the Cougars 4-2 victory. She scored the game tying goal in the third period, assisted on the game winner and scored the final goal that solidified the Cougars win.
Both Chatham hockey teams will return to action on January 24th. The women's team will travel to Rochester, N.Y. to play Nazareth at 6:30 PM and the men's team will travel to Geneseo, N.Y. to play SUNY Geneseo at 7 PM.
