PITTSBURGH, Pa. - On Tuesday, Chatham University Men's Hockey announced the hiring of new Assistant Men's Hockey Coach Tyler Love.

"We are very excited to welcome Tyler to Chatham," head coach Michael Gershon said. "His experience playing hockey at the Professional, Division I, and Division III levels will be a great asset to our players and our program. I look forward to working with Tyler and using his experience to help our players continue to develop while also helping us grow our program."

Love is originally from Moon Township and played for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. He then played in the NAHL and was a captain for his team, being selected for the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament and the NAHL All-Star Team. Love started his college career at Robert Morris, playing on the 2020-21 regular season championship team. He ended his college career at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire playing on the 2021-22 WIAC Championship team. After his collegiate career, Love played 123 games professionally in the SPHL and ECHL.
