MEADVILLE, Pa. - Chatham Women's Lacrosse (6-7, 3-3) fell 13-5 on the road to the Allegheny Gators (6-6, 5-1) on Wednesday at the Robertson Blue Turf.
Junior
Sam Beall-Dennell recorded two goals, four draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover, which tied her for the program's career record for caused turnovers at 71. Beall-Dennell already holds the program's career records for draw controls and ground balls, and is in reach of both the points and goals marks in just her third season.

Erin Goodwin also netted two goals with three draw controls and a ground ball. Graduate student
Bailey Donofrio scored a goal, while senior
Felicia Hutter picked up an assist and caused three turnovers. First year
Izzy Davanti also registered an assist. Freshman
Sarah Holt led the team in caused turnovers and ground balls, with four and three respectively.
Goodwin gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead at 11:44 of the first quarter with a free-position goal. After an equalizer from the Gators, Beall-Dennell scored on a man-up opportunity to round out the scoring for the low-scoring quarter.
Allegheny flipped the switch in the second quarter, scoring seven goals and holding Chatham scoreless to take an 8-2 lead into halftime. The Gator offense continued in the second half, with the first two goals of the third quarter on their way to a 4-2 advantage. Both sides scored just one goal a piece in the final frame as Allegheny stayed well in command.
Shots were 34-21 in favor of the Gators. Chatham completed just half of their clears at 16-32, while Allegheny was 17-22.
Women's Lacrosse will take on the Franciscan Barons on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Steubenville.
