Tanner Marsh set a new single-game program record for the Cougars.
Marsh had six goals and three assists to go along with two ground balls and a caused turnover. Fellow first year
Brady Rigdon had an impressive day as well, tallying seven points on four goals and three assists with four ground balls. Junior
Ethan Rinker recorded a hat trick and collected two ground balls, while freshman
Tyler Laughlin had three points on a goal and two assists.Â

Jack Neal led the Cougars with three caused turnovers and picked up seven ground balls. In goal, sophomore
Brett Zaruba made five saves in 47:02 of action and picked up the win, while junior
Zen Smith played the other 12:58 and made three stops.
The Presidents got on the board first 52 seconds into the game, but two goals from Rigdon gave the Cougars a 2-1 lead. After W&J tied the game at 2, Chatham scored three times in a row, with goals from Marsh, Rinker and Rigdon and went up 5-2. One more President goal before the end of the first quarter made it 5-3.
Chatham shutout W&J in the second quarter and held them to just one shot on goal. Additionally, the Cougars scored four goals, including two from Rinker, to take command 9-3. Stanuikynas scored 1:24 into the second half to give Chatham a seven-goal lead. The Cougar defense continued to show out as they held the Presidents to just one goal in the quarter. A late man-up score from Rigdon made it 11-4 heading into the final period.
W&J threatened a comeback with three quick goals to start the fourth quarter, but Chatham would score the final five goals in the game to cement the victory, with Marsh recording a point on all of them.
Shots were 58-27 in favor of the Cougars, and both teams were 50% on extra-man opportunities, with Chatham 1-2 and W&J 2-4. The Cougars took care of business in the faceoff circle 18-9.
Men's Lacrosse will host Grove City on Saturday at 4 p.m. at UPMC Graham Field.
