PITTSBURGH - Chatham Men's Lacrosse (7-6, 2-2) was defeated by Grove City (10-4, 5-0) by the score of 21-7 on Saturday at UPMC Graham Field.

Brady Rigdon led the team with four points on two goals and two assists. First year

Jacob Lubawy each had two points, with a goal and an assist for Marsh and two assists for Lubawy. Junior

Jack Neal led the Cougars with seven ground balls.
The Wolverines scored the first goal of the game just 10 seconds in, and then found the net again at 8:57 to take a 2-0 lead. The Cougars found the scoreboard when Rigdon assisted Marsh at 7:47, but the Wolverines scored twice within eight seconds to make it 4-1. Just over a minute later, Chatham scored twice in an 11-seconds span with goals from Delo and Iovino. Chatham found the net twice more in the remainder of the first quarter to tie the game at five.
The second quarter was dominated by Grove City, with five goals scored while holding Chatham to just one. The third quarter was much of the same as the Wolverines outscored the Cougars 5-1 to go up 16-7. Grove City increased the lead to double digits early in the final frame on their way to a five goal fourth quarter.
Grove City dominated in shots 48-26. Each team had three extra-man opportunities, with the Wolverines converting on two and the Cougars failing to convert.
Men's Lacrosse will travel to Meadville on Wednesday to take on the Allegheny Gators.
