PITTSBURGH - Chatham Women's Lacrosse (3-3) earned its first shutout victory since 2018 with a 19-0 rout of Mount Aloysius (2-2) on Saturday at UPMC Graham Field.

Bailey Donofrio led the offense with six points on five goals and an assist. She scored all five of her goals in the first 15:31 of the game, including three in a span of 1:35 between the first and second quarters. Senior

Sam Beall-Dennell each tallied four points on three goals and one assist. Beall-Dennell, the reigning PAC Midfielder of the Week, also recorded five ground balls and four draw controls. Senior

Goodwin got the scoring started just 29 seconds into the game, and the Cougars never looked back. Two goals from Donofrio made it 3-0 in a flash and free-position goals from Walter and Beall-Dennell increased the lead to 5. Chatham would score three more before the end of the first quarter, including two more from Donofrio.
Chatham scored five in the second quarter from five different scorers to take a 13-0 lead into halftime. In the third quarter, the Cougars netted three goals in a 3:24 span to go up 16 and a last-minute marker from Walter made it 17-0. Chatham scored twice in the fourth quarter on the second goal of the game from MacConnell and the second goal of the year from first year

The Cougars outshot the Mounties 33-11, while draw controls were an even 10-10. Chatham was 4-5 on free-position shots, while Mount Aloysius was 0-2.
Women's Lacrosse begins PAC play on Wednesday when they play host to the Westminster Titans.
