GENEVA, Ohio - February 10, 2024 - Chatham Indoor Track & Field enjoyed a successful day at the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games on Saturday, with 16 new personal-bests and three new school records.
On the women's side, first year
Camryn Noll took 19th with a personal best in the 300-meter (49.68 seconds) and also PR'd in the 400-meter (1:10.26). Sophomore
Molly Standing also put together a personal-best performance in the 400-meter with a time of 1:04.22. Freshman
Sarah Yannayon threw a new personal best in the shot put with a distance of 10.00 meters.
For the men, freshmen
Demetrius Broadnax and
Killian Brown each set new personal records in both the 200-meter and 400-meter, with Broadnax finishing at 23.44 and 54.90 and Brown at 27.61 and 1:04.62, respectively. Broadnax's 200 time was a new school record. First year
Rylan Henry turned in a new personal-best shot put distance of 9.13 meters, while classmate
Connor Domke broke the 300-meter school record with a time of 39.10 seconds.
Indoor Track & Field will return to action next Saturday at the Mount Union Tune-Up.
