WARREN, OH - It was a high way to end the regular season as the Chatham men's and women's indoor track and field teams had multiple top finishes in the PAC Tune-Up Meet before heading to the PAC Championship.
On the men's side of things,
Damarius Day has led things for the Cougars all season and continued that with a 4th place finish in the 60m today.
As for the women, nine Cougars would find themselves in the top 10 today. Eliana Brone opened things up on the track with a 3rd place finish in the 1 Mile run. Earning a 4th place finish in the long jump and an 8th place finish in the high jump would be
Najiyah Smith as she continued to dominate the field.
Isabella Brunetto would also go the distance as she earned a 5th place finish in the 800M. Right behing her would be Flynn Kirvan crossing that same 800M line just seconds later for a 7th place finish and then
Molly Green for a 9th place finish. Also finishing 7th would be
Vanessa Mleczko in the 60M and
Samantha Guerro-Mendoza in shot put.
Sarah Yannayon would round out the top 10 finishes as she earned 10th in shot put.
The Cougars now look ahead to the PAC Championships which start Thursday, February 26th and are set to take place in Youngstown, OH.
