MEADVILLE, Pa. - Chatham Men's Basketball (4-1, 3-0 PAC) grabbed their third consecutive win to begin conference play on Saturday, defeating the Allegheny Gators (0-4, 0-2) 84-61.

Luca Robinson scored 16 for Chatham on 7-10 shooting, including 2-2 from beyond the arc, and grabbed a game high 7 rebounds. Junior
Easton Fulmer scored 14 points for the Cougars. Senior
Blaine Gartley set a new Chatham record for career steals with his third of the game late in the first half. The Mount Lebanon graduate completed the game with 4 takeaways to extend his career total to 187. Gartley also contributed with a game high 6 assists for the Cougars and recorded 9 points.
Chatham jumped out to a 14-6 lead in the first 10 minutes, and back-to-back
Luca Robinson three pointers gave the Cougars a 22-11 advantage. A 12-0 Chatham run extended the Cougars' lead to 22 late in the first half. An ensuing 10-2 Gator run cut into the large advantage, but
Diaun Pinkett's layup just before halftime gave Chatham a comfortable 44-28 lead heading into the break.
The teams traded buckets to begin the second half, with Pinkett scoring 10 points in the first 10 minutes. Allegheny cut their deficit to 7 points with eight and a half minutes remaining, but 5 consecutive points from
Easton Fulmer gave the Cougars' a double-digit lead they would not relinquish. Chatham would end the game on a dominant 15-4 run.
Luke Barker was the Gators' leading scorer with 22 points on 6-10 shooting. James Sitter netted 12 points and had 3 steals for Allegheny. Ryan Lang recorded 9 points with 6 rebounds, and Isaiah Portis led the Gators with 7 boards.
The Cougars will look to improve to 4-0 in PAC competition on Tuesday, Nov. 26 when they visit Washington and Jefferson for an 8 p.m. matchup.
