The eight-team 2022 UCHC Men's Hockey Championship Tournament will begin with quarterfinal action on Tuesday, Feb. 22 and Wednesday, Feb. 23, Semifinals on Saturday, Feb. 26 and the Championship game on Saturday, March 5. Utica University, ranked No. 2 in the USCHO Division III Men's Hockey poll, is the top overall seed in the upcoming tournament and will look to win its second league title in the last three seasons.

Chatham University Men's Hockey will be making their second-ever, second-straight playoff appearance and more importantly, their first-ever hosting bid.

2021-22 UCHC Men's Quarterfinal Preview
 
No. 5 Nazareth at No. 4 Chatham, Wednesday - 7 p.m
Chatham enters the UCHC Tournament having recorded an 8-8-2 record in league play. The Cougars have seven players with at least 10 points this season, including Tristan Simm, who leads the team in scoring with 19 points on six goals and 13 assists. Evan Mitchell has a team-high seven goals. Ricardo Gonzalez is 9-8-2 in net with a .910 save percentage.
 
Nazareth finished 8-9-1 in league play and boast eight players who have tallied at least 10 points in 2021-22. Nick Charron leads the Golden Flyers in scoring with 20 points on nine goals and 11 assists, while Ray Falso and Ryan Turse are right behind with 19 points each. Falso leads Nazareth with 10 goals, while Turse has a team-high 15 assists. Goaltender Matt Sayles has played 21 games in net and has a 9-11-1 record with a 3.20 goals against average.
 
Chatham and Nazareth were separated by just one point in the league standings. The two teams split the regular season with each team winning on its home ice by identical 5-2 scores.
