Women's Hockey Completes Series Sweep of Arcadia

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - November 13, 2021 - Chatham Women's Hockey hosted Arcadia in their regular-season series finale. The Cougars would repeat their results from yesterday, coming out on top of a 4-1 win.

Sophomore Ally Nolan got the scoring party started early, converting a pass from first-year Erin Carter to find the back of the net.

Lauren Carmody would not take long to join the rally, capitalizing on a powerplay cycle from classmate Lauryn Hawley and junior Brooke Almond.

Before the period was through, Arcadia would score off of a rebound.

Cameron Carmody and Abi Fuzaylov teamed up to complete yet another successful powerplay attempt, with Fuzaylov firing a pass that was perfectly tipped into the upper right corner of Arcadia's net. The Cougars would proceed to hold Arcadia off offensively, going into the third period with a two-goal lead.

First-year Trinity Antonio would secure her first collegiate goal halfway through the third to seal the deal, benefiting from Almond's perfect face-off draw.

Brooke Almond was the playmaker of the day, tallying a team-high two assists and two points. Ally Nolan led the offensive charge with seven shots on goal.

In net, sophomore Lilly Rogers made 18 saves.

The Cougars will next face off against Buffalo State on Wednesday, November 17, at 5 PM on home ice.
