LATROBE, Pa. – October 3, 2021 – The Chatham women's soccer team wore down Saint Vincent in the first half, finishing off the Bearcats in the second to the tune of a 2-0 final score. The win puts Chatham's record at 4-3-1 overall and 2-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
The Cougars set the tone early, sending eight shots towards Saint Vincent's net with five of them being on net. Despite not getting a goal in the first 45 minutes, the Cougars outshot the Bearcats 18-1, including 8-0 on goal.

Emily Harvey, who knocked in the game's first score after a long rebound in front of the net in the 50
th minute. The second goal was scored in the 64
th minute after a SVC foul in the box led to junior
Greta Mort's third goal of the season and second penalty kick tally of the year.
For the match, Chatham outshot Saint Vincent 26-4 including 12-1 on goal and attempted eight corners compared to the Bearcats' pair. The Cougars also managed to stay more disciplined by committing five fouls whereas Saint Vincent was the culprit of seven fouls. Chatham stay clean in terms of fouls in the first half.
