Chatham drops 80-53 decision to Carnegie Mellon

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – NOVEMBER 25th, 2017 – Chatham dropped an 80-53 decision at Carnegie Mellon this afternoon.

KEY PLAYERS: Logan Hunter, Curtis Perz and Buzz Walker each tallied nine points against Carnegie Mellon. Hunter went 4-4 from the field with two rebounds. Perz grabbed three rebounds while Walker added four. Anthony Bomar led the Cougars in rebounds with eight. He recorded six points and three assists.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Chatham outrebounded Carnegie Mellon offensively leading to seven second chance points. The Cougars earned seven points off of 10 forced Tartan turnovers. The bench added 29 points for Chatham.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars will play in the consolation game of the Carnegie Mellon DoubleTree Tournament tomorrow at 1 pm against Baruch.

Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
