Saints surpass Cougars 95-69

Box Score CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – JANUARY 28th, 2017 – The Chatham Cougars fell to the Thomas More Saints 95-69.    
 
The Basics
  • Records: Chatham (8-1, 4-8 PAC) Thomas More (13-6, 9-3 PAC)
  • Location: Connor Center at Thomas More College.
 
Key Players
  • Sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa./Montour) and sophomore Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) each finished the game with 12 points apiece.
  • Sophomore Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark./North Pulaski) would be the third Cougar scoring in double digits with 10 points.
  • Sophomore Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) led the team in rebounds with six. Bomar grabbed three assists and two steals as well.
 
Inside the numbers
  • The Cougars scored 18 points off of Saints turnovers.
  • The bench added 35 points for Chatham.
  • After only getting 22 points in the first half, the Cougars would rally and score 47 in the final 20 minutes.

  • The Cougars will be back in action February 1st when they take on Grove City. Tipoff is set for 7:30 pm.

Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five new men's sports in the 2015-2016 academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
