Cougars Lose To Saints; 83-58

Box Score CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – JANUARY 20th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Men's Basketball team traveled to Crestview Hills, Ky. to take on the Thomas More College Saints this evening. The Cougars fell to the Saints 83-58.

With the loss, Chatham falls to 3-13 overall and 3-6 PAC. With the win, Thomas More improves to 10-6 overall, 7-2 PAC. 

Three Cougars finished the game with more than 10 points. First Year Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa. / Pittsburgh Central Catholic) and First Year Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark. / North Pulaski) both scored 11 points. First Year Nasir Alexander (Kissimmee, Fla. / Osceola) chipped in 10 points. First Year Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa. / Montour) was a key player for the Cougars tonight finishing with 8 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds and 1 block. 

At the end of the first half the Cougars were only down by 6 points. Unfortunately, in the second half they were outscored 47-28 and could not keep up with the Saints. 

The Cougars are back on the court this Saturday when they take on the Westminster College Titans. Tipoff is set for 3 pm in the Athletics and Fitness Center.
