Chatham Volleyball Falls to Westminster and Geneva

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 NEW WILMINGTON, PA – Facing two of the top teams in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), the Chatham University Volleyball team dropped two matches in straight sets on Tuesday. In the first game of the tri-match, Chatham fell to Westminster College (13-2, 4-1 PAC) 25-12, 25-11, 25-18. In the second match, the Cougars fell to Geneva College (11-5, 6-0 PAC) 25-13, 25-12, 25-9. Chatham now sits at 0-11 (0-5 PAC).

Against Westminster, Mareija Bibbs and Heathir McIntyre each tallied five kills. McIntyre also led the team with seven digs. Aminata Dieng recorded three kills. Arisa Tanimoto and Erin Smith each had seven assists. Jade Lawson had six digs, while Bibbs led the way with three blocks.

Versus Geneva, McIntyre led with seven kills, while Bibbs had five. Tanimoto and Dieng each recorded one. Smith led the way with nine assists, and McIntyre had ten digs and three service aces.

Chatham is back in action tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25, when they travel to Penn State-Altoona. Match time is set for 7:00pm.
