Chatham Volleyball Drops Pair at W&J

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WASHINGTON, PA – The Chatham University Volleyball team dropped a pair of Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matches on Saturday as part of a tri-match.  The Cougars fell to Washington & Jefferson College 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-18) and to Thiel College 3-0 (25-13, 30-28, 25-16).
 
Chatham falls to 0-18 on the season and 0-10 in PAC play.  W&J is now 10-4 (3-4 PAC) while Thiel sits at 1-18 (1-6 PAC)
 
Against W&J, Heathir McIntyre led the way with nine kills and 13 digs.  Mareija Bibbs tallied four kills, nine digs, and two blocks.  Arisa Tanimoto had eight assists, eight digs, and two service aces.
 
Versus Thiel, Bibbs had nine kills and seven digs, while McIntyre tallied three kills and 17 digs.  Tanimoto also had 17 digs, to go along with 10 assists.  Erin Smith recorded four assists and nine digs.
 
Chatham will return to action on Wednesday, October 9, when they travel to Saint Vincent College.  Match time is set for 7:00pm.
