PITTSBURGH, PA –
Mareija Bibbs nailed 12 kills, but the Chatham University Volleyball team fell to visiting rival Carlow University on Thursday, 3-0. The Celtics won by scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-13. Chatham is now 0-16 on the season, while Carlow moves to 15-13.
To go along with Bibbs' 12 kills,
Arisa Tanimoto,
Aminata Dieng, and
Heathir McIntyre each recorded one. Tanimoto led the team with 11 assists, while McIntyre had 17 digs.
Erin Smith chipped in with two assists and eight digs. Tanimoto and
Jade Lawson each had one service ace.
The Cougars are back on the court Saturday, October 5, when they travel to Washington & Jefferson College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference tri-match with W&J and Thiel College. Chatham will play W&J at 11:00am and Thiel at 1:00pm.
