PITTSBURGH, PA – After falling behind two games to none, the Chatham University volleyball team mounted a furious comeback to force a deciding fifth set, where they eventually fell to visiting La Roche College. The Lady Red Hawks (4-6) won by scores of 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 16-25, 15-12. Chatham (0-9, 0-7 PAC) also lost earlier in the day to PAC rival Westminster College 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-7).
“We left everything on the floor tonight,” said Head Coach
Marc Eberle. “We rallied behind the crowd, which definitely helped spark our comeback against La Roche, but we just fell short. We fought hard in both matches and we are looking to take this positive energy into our weekend tournament in Chicago.”
Against the Titans, junior
Mareija Bibbs (Chesapeake, VA/Peninsula Catholic) led the offense with five kills, while
