This week's Male Cougar Athlete of the Week is First Year Forward Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa. / Central Catholic). Schoppen was selected to the Carnegie Mellon Double Tree Invitational All-Tournament Team this past weekend for his exceptional performance in Sunday's basketball game. Alex posted a career high 27 points and made 7 three pointers. On the season, Schoppen is averaging 11.6 points per game, and is shooting 52% from beyond the arc.
