This week’s female athlete of the week is basketball player Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa / Serra Catholic). A first year guard from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sieg scored 21 points in the Cougar’s recent 68-46 route of the Westminster Titans, which came from solid shooting in the paint as well as from behind the arc. Sieg, a two letter athlete, also made major contributions to the Chatham soccer team in the fall. The Cougars are back for another home game on Wednesday, January 27th, when they host the Saint Vincent Bearcats at 6:00 PM.
