This week’s female athlete of the week is basketball player Ashley McClain. A first-year point guard from Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, McClain helped the Cougars take home wins again both Penn State Altoona and Hilbert College. Against Penn State Altoona, McClain put up fourteen points, including a jumper with under two minutes to play to put the Cougars in the lead. Against Hilbert, McClain contributed twelve points, all of which came from beyond the arc.
