Sara is starting her first season with the Cougars. After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2023, Sara pursued a professional career in Sweden with AIK. In her career at SUNY Plattsburgh, Sara surmised 138 points in 112 games, won 4 NEWHL titles, and a national championship in 2019. She was named the NEWHL tournament MVP in 2019-2020, First team NEWHL and second team AHCA All American in 2021-2022, and in 2022-23 she was named the NEWHL tournament MVP and the AHCA All American second team.

"Having someone who has experienced winning a national tournament on staff will be extremely helpful to our players as we continue to elevate our competitive level throughout the season and recruit top talent.”
