Chatham Athletics would like to announce its hiring of Hayley Butler as the Head Cheer Coach.
"We are excited to welcome Coach Hayley Butler to the department," said Vice President of Athletics and Recreation
Leonard Trevino. "Coach Butler is a strong leader who will work to move the cheerleading program forward in support of the athletic department and university."
Butler, a pre-school teacher, has built a coaching career consisting of recreational gymnastics, USA Gymnastics Level 2 & 3, and All-Star cheerleading.
Butler studied Occupational Therapy at CCAC for two years, where she focused on pediatrics. Afterwards, she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and Development from Carlow University.
Her career as a cheer and gymnastics coach, which started as a hobby, has become a full-time commitment to which she has grown completely dedicated.
"I look forward to assisting the Spirit Squad in implementing structure, guidance, and purpose towards achieving their goals as individuals and a unit," said Butler.
