Kinori Rosnow

Coach Kinori Rosnow enters his fourth season with the Cougars. While at Chatham, Coach Rosnow has worked primarily with the Face-off Unit, while also assisting with the defense. Coach Rosnow has coached 14 All-PAC performers, including 1 Honorable Mention All-PAC Face-Off Midfielder in 2021.

Before Chatham, Coach Rosnow had an impressive playing career at Oberlin College. At Oberlin he was a four year contributor as well as a captain his Senior year. As a face-off midfielder he was named to the All-NCAC 1st & 2nd teams during his career. He was also named All-West Region 1st Team Face-off midfielder. In addition he was named to the NCAC Honor Roll and graduated with a degree in Physics in 2017.

After his impressive playing career at Oberlin, Coach Rosnow has continued an impressive international and professional lacrosse career. He was a member of the MLL Denver Outlaws in 2019. On the international stage he played in the 2018 World Championships in Israel for Team Japan. He was named Team Japan MVP and helped them finish 6th overall. This past summer, he competed in the 1st ever Sixes World Championships in Birmingham, Alabama for Team Japan. At the World Championships, Coach Rosnow helped get Japan it’s 1st international in lacrosse, by taking 3rd in a dramatic win against the United Kingdom. Rosnow, a Seattle native began his lacrosse career playing for both the Overlake School and the Seattle Starz. After college and during his time playing for the Outlaws and Team Japan, he coached the Men’s Lacrosse team at CU Boulder and worked with their Face-Off Midfielders. He helped get ranked as high as 7th in the MCLA polls and reach the national tournament. Coach Rosnow now currently works heavily with local youth and high school players in the Pittsburgh area, specializing in developing face-off midfielders. Rosnow moved to Pittsburgh and received a Masters of Science degree in Information Science at the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information. He lives with his wife Maya and works for Microsoft.
