Larry Wayman has over forty years of successful coaching experience ranging from NCAA Division I, Minor League, Internationally, and High School AAAA.
Wayman has been the assistant head coach at Plum Senior High School since 2011. Prior to that he was the pitching coach for the Washington Wild Things, and an associate scout for  the Atlanta Braves. He also served as the head coach/coordinator for Franklin Regional High School from 1993-2010. He is currently the owner of Xtra Innings Baseball Indoor Training Academy.
Wayman's coaching career began at the University of Pittsburgh where he served as the assistant coach for 11 years. After that he was the pitching coach for the Belgium National Olympic Team as well as the pitching coach for the Murrysville Maulers Baseball Team. He is part of the American Baseball Coaches Association, the National Federations of Interscholastic Coaches Association, the Pennsylvania High School Baseball Coaches Association, and the WPIALÂ Coaches Association.Â
