PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The 2026 Chatham Men's Lacrosse season was the most successful in program history, setting new single season records in wins, winning percentage, goals, assists, points and ground balls. The Cougars recently added more history as well. The Cougars received the Team Academic Award, had two Scholar All-Americans, had an All-Region selection and an appearance in the Senior All-Star Game.

The Cougars were recognized as one of 72 teams in Division III to earn the USILA Academic Team Award. To receive the honor, a team must have a combined 3.0 GPA or higher. The USILA also recognized two Cougars as Scholar All-Americans. Seniors Thomas Whitaker and Jacob Lubawy both received the distinction. This was the first time that the Cougars had multiple recipients in the same season. That was not the end of the awards for Lubawy as he was named an ILCA All-Region 4 Honorable Mention and became the first Chatham player to compete in the USILA North South Senior All-Star Game.
