Wooster, OH - The Chatham women's soccer team was defeated in their first season game at Wooster.
In the first half, the Cougars battled hard against the Scottish Terriers. Both teams came out of the first half scoreless. Cougars goalkeeper Kyanni Escudero made two saves in the first half, keeping the score to 0-0.
Although the Cougars were able to hold the Terriers off in the first half, the second half got away from them. In the 49th minute, Wooster found the net, and added another in the 78th minute. Shortly after the second goal from the Terriers, defender Alaina Gould put one away .
The Cougars finished with 6 shots on goal in the second half but only one finding the back of the net. The game ended with the Cougars falling up short, as they were unable to score before the final whistle.
The Cougars next game will be this Saturday, September 5th at 1 PM at UPMC Graham Field where they will take on Alfred.
