GROVE CITY, PA - It was a late night for Day 3 of the PAC Swimming and Diving Championships and the Cougars continue to fight.
The women's team finished the day holding on to 6th place with 149 total points.
Hannah Uhrinek claimed a large sum of points for the Cougars with a 1st place finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly! Uhrinek continued to add points with a 7th place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle. Behind her followed
Olivia Mucha with a 6th place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke and
Alayna Kercher with an 8th place finish in the 400 Yard IM.
Siera Schmitt finsihed 10th in 400 Yard IM, and to finish things off
Carlie McClurg finished 14th in the 100 Yard Backstroke. The 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team secured a 6th place finish with Mucha, McClurg, Schmitt, and
Hannah Kane.
The men's team dropped back down to 6th place with a total of 105 points.
Xavier Johnston made a huge leap for the men's team as he secured 5th place in the 1 Mtr Diving. Placing behind him was
Caleb Trainum who finished 9th in the 100 Yard Butterfly.
Maxwell Rollins secure a 10th place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke while
Kenneth McFerron finished 13th in 100 Yard Butterfly, and
Ethan Hopkins placed right after him at 14th in 100 Yard Breaststroke. The 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team finished in 4th with Rollins, Hopkins, Trainum, and McFerron continuing to add more points.
The Cougs are back at it at 10 AM and hope to add one last set of points in the final day of the PAC Championships.
