Soulia to Depart Swimming & Diving Program
PITTSBURGH, PA - On October 22, 2026, Chatham Head Swimming & Diving Coach Morgan Soulia will be departing the program, Chatham Vice President of Athletics and Recreation Leonard Trevino announced. Soulia will become the new head coach of the Swimming & Diving program and Aquatics Coordinator at Sienna University in New York.

Soulia directed all aspects of the Cougars program, including training, recruiting, meet strategy, student-athlete development, scheduling, facility coordination, fundraising, community engagement, and NCAA compliance.

As head coach, Soulia led both the men's and women's teams to a sixth-place finish at the 2026 Presidents' Athletics Conference (PAC) Championships in her first season. Under her leadership, the Cougars placed in the top eight in all ten men's and women's relay and recorded 12 individual top eight finishes, highlighted by Hannah Uhrinek's PAC Championship title in the women's 100 butterfly.

"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have led the Chatham Swim and Dive Program and to have been part of the Chatham community. Over the past year, I've had the privilege of getting to know and work alongside many incredible student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, families, and supporters who have made this experience nothing but the best. I am proud of what we ere able to build in an incredibly short time, and I am most proud of the growth I've seen in the team both in and out of the pool. Chatham will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am excited to carry the relationships, experiences, and memories from my time here with me into this next chapter. I will always cheer for the Cougs, and I wish this program nothing but the best!"

A nationwide search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
