GROVE CITY, PA - Day 2 of the PAC Swimming and Diving Championships has wrapped up and the Cougars earned some important points.
The women's team finished the day still in 6th place with 105 total points.
The women's 400 Yard Medley Relay team with
Olivia Mucha,
Siera Schmitt,
Hannah Uhrinek, and
Carlie McClurg added a large amount fo points with their 6th place finish.
Alayna Kercher then added points of her own with an 8th place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle. In the 200 Yard IM, Mucha would secure an 11th place finish with Schmitt right behind her in 12th. McCLurg would round out the points with a 16th places finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
The men's team jumped to 5th place with a total of 101 points.
John Mitchell, Ehtan Hopkins,
Caleb Trainum, and
Maxwell Rollins jumped in the ool ready to secure a 4th place finish in the 400 Yard Medley Relay. Rollins then followed up with a 5th place finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle. Trainum would round things out with a 12th place finish in the 200 Yard IM.
The Cougs look to add more points to their totals tomorrow at 10AM when they gear up for Day 3 of the PAC Championships.
