GROVE CITY, PA - It was Day 1 of the PAC Swimming and Diving Championships for the Cougars.
The women's team finished tied for 6th place with 56 points earned today.
The women's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team consisting of
Olivia Mucha,
Carlie McClurg,
Alayna Kercher, and
Hannah Uhrinek secured a large portion of the points with a 4th place finish. The women's 200 Yard Medley Relay team consisting of Mucha,
Siera Schmitt, Uhrinek, and McClurg finished a few spots behind in 6th.
The men's team finished in 6th place as well with 52 points.
The men's 200 Yard Medley Relay team with
John Mitchell,
Ethan Hopkins,
Caleb Trainum, and
Maxwell Rollins secured a 6th place finish. Also securing a 6th place finish was the men's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team with
Brady Gardner, Hopkins,
Kenneth McFerron, and Mitchell.
The Cougs will jump back in the water tomorrow at 10AM when they gear up for Day 2 of the PAC Championships.
