Rochester, NY - On Monday, the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) released its weekly awards for the week of February 9th. Among the players recognized was the Cougars' forward Nick Cyprian
Senior Nick Cyprian was named Co- UCHC Player of the Week for the 3rd time this season. He jump-started the Cougars offense as they swept conference foe Elmira for their final regular-season home series of the year. The Aledo, TX, native picked up 5 points across the two victories. He assisted on the game-winning goal and picked up two more assists in game one of the series. Cyprian set up the game-winning goal again in game 2, scoring one himself in a dominating performance. He set a career high with 16 goals for a single season.
Cyprian and the Cougars hit the road next against Utica on February 20th. The final regular season series of the season is scheduled to start at 7 pm.
