NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Chatham Men's Basketball (13-5, 8-2 PAC) had its eight-game winning streak snapped by Westminster (13-6, 8-2) on Saturday afternoon falling by a final score of 92-80.

Mick Hergenrother had 13 points with 7 boards and 3 assists, and Drew Weir contributed 9 points, 10 rebounds and a game-high 5 assists for Westminster.

Â
Pinkett scored 7 points in the first four minutes to give the Cougars an early 9-6 lead. Chatham's offense struggled after that point, however, and a 14-2 Titan run put them ahead by 9. Layups by Pinkett and Fulmer brought the Cougars back to within 26-22 with eight minutes remaining in the half, but Westminster responded with a 16-0 scoring run across the next three minutes of play. Another Pinkett layup in the waning seconds prior to the intermission could only cut Chatham's deficit to 21.
Â
Jake TenBerge knocked down a three-pointer to kick off the second-half scoring, but the Titans continued their prolific offensive day with a 10-0 run.
Sam Norfleet IV, Xavier, and Fulmer would all connect on shots from beyond the arc to keep the Cougars in the game at 62-45 with 12 minutes remaining. A
Drew Vizenor triple gave Chatham its smallest second-half deficit at 14 points, but a 6-0 spree by Westminster to put the game away with just under six minutes to play. The Titans would lead by 20 when the final buzzer sounded.
Â
The Cougars shot 41.7 percent (25-60) in the game, but it was not enough to overcome Westminster's 51.7 percent (30-58) shooting that included a 57.6 percentage in the first half. Chatham made 57.1 percent of its free throws (8-14), its lowest percentage of the season, and was outrebounded 45-30, tied for its fewest boards in 2025-26.
Â
The Cougars will look to begin a new winning streak on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Bethany at the Athletic & Fitness Center.
