PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Chatham Men's Basketball (13-4, 8-1 PAC) avenged its only PAC defeat on Wednesday night by knocking off Washington & Jefferson (13-5, 6-3) 84-72 to extend its winning streak to eight games.

The Presidents held a 14-8 advantage early in the contest, but three-points baskets from Vizenor, TenBerge, and Sam Norfleet IV put the Cougars in front 21-20. W&J took the lead back, then with five-and-a-half minutes remaining in the first half, TenBerge's triple pulled Chatham back within 27-26. The Presidents followed with a 10-2 run, but baskets from Pinkett, TenBerge and Vizenor made the score 37-34 in favor of W&J at halftime.

Then with just over 11 minutes to play, Pinkett scored consecutive layups following steals, capping a 10-4 Chatham run. W&J battled until it was within 68-66 with 3:39 left on the clock, but back-to-back triples from Genther and Vizenor put the Cougars up 76-67, which was all they would need to secure the 12-point victory.
