Rochester, NY - On Monday, the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) released its weekly awards for the week of January 12th. Among the players recognized was Cougars goaltender Noel Friedman.
Noel Friedman was named Co-UCHC Rookie of the Week after backstopping the Cougars to victory against the Terriers on Friday. In a 4-0 victory, Friedman stopped all 30 shots on goal he faced, leading the team to their 5th straight win. His strong play earned him his first career win and shutout.
Friedman and the Cougars return to action on January 23rd, where they will face off against St John Fisher. Puck drop is slated for 7 pm.
