PITTSBURGH, PA - The Chatham's women's soccer team was victorious in the city battle against their neighbors the Carlow University Celtics.
In what started as a slow and even half, ended up being the beginning of the flood gates for the Cougars. It would take 42 minutes before
Kelli Hogarty took matters into her own hands and put the Cougars on the board.
The second half would be nothing but total control for the Cougars. They would go on to score four more goals, all from different players.
Halle Marsalis would strike just five minutes into the second half. Following her would be
Payton Massey,
Elizabeth Gallup, and to finish out the scoring would be
Morgan Walsh.
The Cougars had 28 total shots on goal for the night, and the defense kept things easy as goalkeeper
Kyanni Escudero would face zero shots on goal.
The Cougars will be back home this Saturday, September 13th at UPMC raham Field when they face off with the Penn State Altoona Lions at 1PM.
