ARLINGTON, Va. - On Saturday, the Cougars (7-6) wrapped up their non conference schedule with a trip to Arlington. There they took on the Marymount Saints (14-2). The Cougars kept the game close through the first quarter, but the Saints pulled away winning 0-0.

The Cougars and Saints each scored three goals in the first quarter and the Cougars even led 2-1 at one point. After the first quarter the Saints showed their offensive prowess scoring five goals in the second quarter and seven more in the third. The Cougars offense was unable to keep pace as the Saints led 15-5 heading into the final quarter. A three goal final quarter for the Saints gave them an 19-5 victory.

The Cougars were led by Kaya Miller who scored two goals. Sam Beall-Dennell, Erin Goodwin and Bailey Donofrio all scored one goal. Avery Redd had five ground balls and Beall-Dennell caused two turnovers, both leading the team.

The Cougars will be back in action for their final home regular season game on Tuesday April 22nd, when they host Saint Vincent at 7 PM.
