PITTSBURGH – Chatham Men's Volleyball (4-9, 1-4 PAC) was defeated in straight sets (27-25, 25-17, 26-24) on Saturday afternoon by Grove City (9-10, 4-2).
Otto Keith topped the Wolverines in kills with 9 and had 2 service aces. Max Gianneski finished with 7 kills and 6 digs for Grove City. Andrew Kessler had a team high 4 blocks, Craig Fair dished out a game high 30 assists, and Ben McVey tallied a game high 9 digs for the Wolverines. Grove City hit .227 for the match and had a 10-4 edge in service aces.
Benjamin Shelestak recorded a game high 12 kills and a team high 2 aces for the Cougars.
Logan Pack contributed 11 kills with a .292 attack efficiency and had 7 digs.
Tim McCabe blocked a team high 4 Wolverine attacks.
Alex Moncello led Chatham in assists with 15.
RJ Nagg had 3 blocks and 13 assists for the Cougars.
Luke Hoolahan finished with a team high 8 digs.
Chatham will complete their three-game homestand on Wednesday against Saint Vincent, with the first serve scheduled for 7 p.m.
