PITTSBURGH – Chatham Men's Volleyball (4-10, 1-5 PAC) won the first set against Saint Vincent (7-8, 2-4) but fell in the final three sets and was defeated 3-1 (19-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-19).
Shawn McSwiggen led the Bearcats in kills with 12 and digs with 14. Zebadiah Wyant contributed 9 kills, 3 aces, 11 digs and a match high 4 blocks. Jackson Genicola recorded 24 assists and 7 digs. Rocco Marino had 4 blocks for Saint Vincent, which finished the match with an 8-3 edge in blocks and a .190 hitting percentage.
Benjamin Shelestak recorded a game high 15 kills and had 7 digs for the Cougars.
Logan Pack tallied 13 kills and 8 digs for Chatham.
RJ Nagg dished out a match high 38 assists and had 3 aces.
Luke Hoolahan finished with a match high 15 digs.
Tim McCabe contributed 7 kills and 2 aces, and
Jordan Haas blocked 2 Bearcat attacks and had 4 kills.
The Cougars will travel to Hiram for their next match, which takes place on Friday at 7 p.m.
