PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars traveled to Carlow and took on the Celtics in a Non-Conference double header.
In game one, the Cougs took down Carlow 4-2.
Isabelle Griswold went 2/2 at the plate with 2 doubles and 1 RBI.
Victoria Murren and
Anna Borst both went 2/3, with Murren hitting 1 double.
Hannah Chenault. The Cougars also stole 3 bases with
Irene Martin,
Anna Borst and
Isabelle Griswold on the base paths. Murren (4-7) pitched all 7 innings letting up 6 hits, 2 runs and grabbing 3 strikeouts.
In game two, Chatham won 8-6.
Irene Martin,
Anna Borst and
Hannah Chenault all went 2/4 at the plate, good for 5 runs all together. Martin and Chenault both hit 2 doubles, as well as a third double from
Cloe Lopez.
Isabelle Griswold went 3/4, including a home run, and stole a base.
Josie Underdonk (2-3) came into relieve starter
Cloe Lopez, and pitched 6.2 innings. She finished with 9 hits, 2 runs and 5 strikeouts.Â
The Cougars (7-17 Overall, 1-5 PAC) will be back in action on Tuesday, April 1st for a PAC match up against W&J. Start times of 3:30/5:30pm.
