Cougars Fall to Gators in Double Header

PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars opened up PAC play against Allegheny in a doubleheader. 

The Cougars fell in game one 10-0. Isabelle Griswold and Anna Borst both went 1/3 at the plate, collecting the only 2 hits for Chatham. Griswold also stole a base in an effort for the Cougars. Cailyn Lucas started on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings with 10 hits and 5 runs scored. Lucas also collected 2 strikeouts. 

in Game two, the Cougars fell 7-0. Anna Borst went 2/3 and Victoria Murren finished the game 1/3 at the plate. On the base parts, Hannah Chenault stole a base. Victoria Murren pitched all 7 innings, ending the game with 10 hits, 7 runs and 9 strikeouts. 

the Cougars will be back in action against Carnegie Melon on March 25 with starts times of 6:30 and 8:30.
