PITTSBURGH, PA – Chatham Baseball (8-8, 0-0 PAC) scored 10 runs in the final two innings of Thursday's game at La Roche (3-11, 0-0 AMCC) to rout the Redhawks 15-2.

Tommy Schubert doubled in the first inning to drive home
Caleb Jones and start the scoring for the Cougars. Chatham extend their lead to 3-0 in the third when an
Eddie Rueda groundout drove in a run and
Tyler Cote's double brought home
Peter Tadic. Tadic then got an RBI single of his own in the fifth before scoring on an error to make it a 5-1 ballgame. The Cougars poured on the offense in the seventh inning, as Tadic again scored on an error before Schubert doubled to bring in a run. Schubert then scored on a
Nick Merola bunt single, and Chatham would score 3 more runs in the inning when
Devin Fluhmann smacked a 2 RBI double and then scored on an error. With an 11-2 advantage heading to the top of the eighth inning, the Cougars tacked on 4 more runs to cap the offensive spree. Cote scored when Fluhmann was hit by a pitch, Schubert scored on an
Angelo DeLeonardis base hit, and Fluhmann completed his third trip around the bases when Rueda singled to give Chatham the 13-run victory.

Tommy Schubert went 2-4, drove in 2 runs and scored twice.
Peter Tadic scored 3 runs and was 2-6 with an RBI, and
Eddie Rueda went 3-6 with 2 RBI.
Matt Bamford earned the win on the mound for the Cougars, allowing 1 earned run in 5 innings with 3 strikeouts.
Cason Bennett tossed a scoreless inning in relief with 2 strikeouts and allowed no hits, and
Drew Schreck also threw a scoreless inning.

Chatham will begin conference play on Saturday when they will host a doubleheader against Grove City at West Field beginning at 2 p.m.
