PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars took on Pitt Greensburg in a double header, falling in both games to the Bobcats.
In game one, the Cougars dropped the game 6-2.
Cloe Lopez went 2/4 with 2 RBIs.
Hannah Chenault went 2/2 and collected a walk as well. Chenault,
Chelsea Stabile and
Isabelle Griswold all stole a base in an effort for Chatham.
Victoria Murren started on the mound for the Cougars, she pitched 4.1 innings letting up 6 hits and 3 runs. Murren also struck out 2 Bobcat batters.
In game two, the Cougars fell 6-2 as well.
Cloe Lopez and
Hannah Chenault went 1/2, both scoring runs as well.
Sofia Zayas went 1/3 with a double and 2 RBIs. On the mound, starter
Cailyn Lucas threw 6 innings. Lucas let up 11 hits and 6 runs.Â
The Chatham Softball team is currently 4-10 overall and will begin PAC play against Allegheney on Saturday, March 22. Start times are set for 6:30 and 8:30.
