WOOSTER, OHIO – Chatham Baseball (6-7, 0-0 PAC) was defeated by Wooster (2-7, 0-0 NCAC) 18-5 on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Cougars gave up 7 runs to the Fighting Scots in both the first and third innings before getting 3 runs back in the top of the fourth. 
Ty Blackburn doubled home 
Kayden Leck and 
Devin Fluhmann doubled home 
Jake Bredl and Blackburn to make the score 14-3. 
Caleb Jones scored on a Wooster error in the sixth inning and 
Peter Tadic doubled home 
Eddie Rueda for the other two Chatham runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Wooster scored additional runs in the fourth and sixth innings and 2 in the eighth to capture the 13-run victory.
 
Ty Blackburn finished the game 3-3 at the plate for the Cougars with an RBI and scored a run. 
Devin Fluhmann was 2-4 with 2 RBI, 
Caleb Jones and 
Peter Tadic were also 2-4 for Chatham, with Jones scoring a run and Tadic adding an RBI. 
Drew Schreck, 
Dawson Morrow, and 
Tyler Cote all threw scoreless innings in relief for Chatham on the mound.
 
The Cougars will regroup for their doubleheader on Saturday at West Field against Pitt Greensburg at 5 p.m.
