DAVENPORT, Fl. – Chatham Baseball (1-4, 0-0 PAC) dropped both games of their twin bill on Saturday against Clark (2-0, 0-0 NEWMAC) by final scores of 10-3 and 6-3.

In game one, Clark scored a couple of runs in the top of the first inning to take an early lead.
Jake Bredl got a run back on a double that scored
Nolan Boehm in the second inning. Clark gained a 3-1 advantage in the bottom of that inning before Chatham tied the game on a
Caleb Jones RBI single and a Boehm double that scored
Peter Tadic. Chatham was unable to produce on offense for the rest of the game, and a 5-run fifth inning propelled Clark to the victory.

Bredl went 2-3 with an RBI, Boehm batted 2-3 with a run and RBI, Jones went 1-3 with an RBI and
Eddie Rueda finished was 1-3 at the plate in game one with a run scored.
Wyatt Lee tossed a scoreless inning with a walk for Chatham.

In the second game, Chatham was the team to score 2 runs in the first frame, on a Boehm double and
Ty Blackburn base hit that plated him. Clark would tie the game in the ensuing inning and take a 4-2 lead in the third that they would not relinquish. Chatham got a run back in the seventh courtesy of a Rueda RBI that scored
Kayden Leck, but it would not be enough to make the comeback in the seven-inning affair.

Angelo DeLeonardis went 2-3 and scored a run for Chatham. Other notable performances at the plate include Boehm, who was 1-3 with an RBI and run scored, Leck, who went 1-1 with a run scored, and Blackburn, who finished game two 1-3 with an RBI.
Tyler Cote's single in the first inning was the 100th of his Chatham career, making him the fifth player in program history to achieve the mark.Â
Dawson Morrow threw three innings for Chatham while allowing just 1 earned run and striking out four.Â

Baseball will play another doubleheader at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. tomorrow in Davenport against Bluffton.
