Hannah Uhrinek was awarded her fourth PAC Weekly Award for this past week of Chatham athletics, along with
Max Rollins being named Rookie of the Week for his first award of the year.
Uhrinek set a new Chatham record and earned fifth place at the stacked Western Pennsylvania invitational with a 2:12.13 in the 200 butterfly. She also placed sixth in the 100 fly with a season best 59.32, both times ranking first in the PAC this season. Uhrinek added a season best 2:01.21 in the 200 free, which is fourth-best in the conference.
Alayna Kercher was also added to the PAC Honor roll as well as establishing new lifetime bests in the 1000 freestyle (11:33.58), fifth-fastest in PAC this winter, and 1650 freestyle (19:15.58), fourth-best in the PAC.
Max Rollins also won PAC Rookie of the Week. Rollins broke his own Chatham record in the 50 freestyle, becoming the first Cougar to break 22 seconds in the event ... His time of 21.91 seconds placed him seventh in the event at the Western Pa. Invitational and ranks seventh in the PAC this season ... Rollins also tied his lifetime best with a 49.93 in the 100 freestyle earlier in the meet.
Cal Hockman was also added to the PAC Honor Roll. Congratulations Hannah, Alayna, Max and Cal.
The Swimming and Diving teams will be back in action on Saturday, February 8th for their final regular season meet against Westminster at 11am.
