Oberlin, Ohio - On Saturday the Cougars (1-2) took on their first road game of the season when they traveled to Oberlin, Ohio to take on the Oberlin Yeos (1-0). The Cougars were out matched and after two early goals fell by a final score of 17-2.
The Cougars took an early lead, 2-1, early in the game but were unable to muster any scores after that and a strong Yeo offensive attack scored 16 unanswered goals to take the game by a final score of 17-2.
The goal scorers for the Cougars were
Broden Zumbano and
Tanner Marsh, who scored on a man advantage.
Jesse Corser-James led the Cougars in ground balls and caused turnovers with eight and five respectively.
Zen Smith made 15 saves for the Cougars while in net.
The Cougars will be back in action on February 26th when they travel to Marietta, Ohio to play Marietta with a start time of 7 PM.
