CANTON, OH - It was the final Day of the Malone Invitational, and one last chance for the Chatham swim and dive team (1-3) to earn some points.
The women finished the Invitational securing 284.50 total points and finishing 10th at the end of the three day event.
Top finishers yesterday all secured top ten finishes in their events. Leading things off was
Olivia Mucha who finished 6th in the 200 yard backstroke. Right behind her was
Hannah Uhrinek who finished 7th in the 200 yard butterfly. To finish things off for the COugars yesterday was
Alayna Kercher who finished 10th in the 1650 yard freestyle.
The men finished the Invitational securing 193.50 total points and finishing 12th.
The 400 yard freestyle relay team kicked things off with a 13th place finish from
Max Rollins,
Cal Hockman, Kenny McFerron, and
Caleb Trainum. Trainum wasn't just finished yet as he secured a 15th place finish of his own in the 200 yard butterfly.
The Cougars will be back in action Friday, December 5, when they head just South of the City to the Presidential Diving Invite, starting at 2 PM, hosted by Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA.
